Dear Members,
It has come to my attention that my previous email could be perceived as
"unsolicited advertising" by some in the community. I assure you that my
intention was to adhere to ARIN's guidance, which encourages candidates "to
connect directly with voters on the General Member Mailing List." and
"consider posting to tell voters a bit more about why you have chosen to
run for office and your vision for ARIN as it relates to the role you are
seeking."
I am grateful to the ARIN team for providing this guidance, as it offers an
ideal opportunity for me ( and the other candidates ) to introduce myself
to the community. My ultimate aim is to aid all members in making the most
informed decisions possible. The email was primarily focused on delineating
the reasons I have opted to run for a position that serves both ARIN and
its broader community.
Thank you for your understanding, and I welcome any further dialogue to
discuss how I plan to contribute to ARIN's mission.
Regards,
Khaled
