[General-members] Khaled Koubaa as Candidate for ARIN Board of Trustees - A Commitment to Strengthening the Internet Community

Dear Esteemed ARIN Members,

I am writing to introduce myself as a candidate for the upcoming Board of
Trustees election at ARIN. My multifaceted background in business,
technology, and governance uniquely positions me to contribute meaningfully
to ARIN's mission. Above all, my principal objective is to serve the ARIN
community and, by extension, make a lasting impact on the global internet
landscape.

My professional background includes leadership roles in prominent tech
companies such as Google and Meta. My experience with these organizations
has granted me valuable insights into the challenges and needs of ARIN's
membership base. The skill sets acquired in these roles enable me to
navigate complex policy landscapes and make informed, strategic decisions
that would benefit ARIN and its stakeholders.

Additionally, I have served on the Board of Directors for ICANN, the Board
of Trustees for the Internet Society (ISOC) and the UN IGF MAG. These roles
have not only enriched my understanding of the intricacies of internet
governance but have also enabled me to build a network that spans across
different sectors and regions. Serving on these boards has exposed me to
the multi-stakeholder model of governance and has afforded me the
opportunity to work closely with a diverse set of professionals in the
internet space. I believe that the depth of this experience will be of
considerable value to the ARIN community.

My work on the board of AfriNIC has granted me direct experience in
regional internet registry's governance, a perspective that will inform my
contributions to ARIN’s initiatives and policies. As a seasoned
professional, I have served on boards that have fiduciary responsibilities
in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors, which has equipped me with
an understanding of the unique governance challenges that tech-focused
organizations face.

I bring to the table a unique blend of skills, experiences, and a genuine
commitment to the improvement of internet governance and policy. I am
particularly enthusiastic about the opportunity to serve the ARIN community
and contribute to its commendable objectives. I place great importance on
the democratic process and would like to take this opportunity to encourage
everyone to exercise their right to vote. Your voice is instrumental in
shaping the governance of an organization that has a pivotal role in the
future of the internet.
