Excellent advice for all of us.  Let's please keep discussions here civil.

If you write something that might trigger a response from the recipient, 
it might be useful to hold off on sending it, then come back and re-read 
it with an eye toward how someone reading it is likely to react.  If 
there is anything that could conceivably be perceived as a personal 
attack, assume it will be, and see if it can be re-worded to be more 
objective and impersonal...
