I think he's asking for *respect* not *special status* or rights. Having
read this list for over a year now, I can point to many postings that
definitely have a lack of respect for those Legacy holders that
pioneered the network you are using.

And folks, we are in need of IPv6 pioneers, I cannot get native IPv6
from an ISP here in Canada's capital city. Relying on the "followers"
isn't working out, we need pioneers.
