[ppml] getting converts to V6

 Here Here John!

I am glad you wrote in. I see so many people here trying to arrange
things so that they can make more money, and are not worrying about what
will make the internet(s) actually work better. Forcing people to make
changes with artificially inflated costs is just plain bad practice,
except of course for the guy that's collecting the fees.

I really don't understand the push to force people over to IPv6 and make
them abandon their v4 space. If the v4 space is meeting their needs why
not let them run with it? Eventually they will need to migrate over
when resources and content are only available on v6, but why bully them
into changing? I doubt that those little folks are providing much
content that is vital to your network.

The migration to IPv6 will happen. It will happen whether we riot an
run amok, and it will happen if we sit passively and watch. I suspect
that it will happen on nearly the same schedule in either case. Those
who are aware and forward thinking will have a more seamless and
inexpensive transition, those who wait till the last minute will have a
harder time of it and spend more money. But it is still their choice,
We can educate, but we don't have the right to drag them along kicking
and screaming.

If you bully guys out there are really so into the almighty dollar, then
why not change to an industry that is all about money and has nothing to
do with ethics or morality.. something like TV evangalism maybe..
