In preparation for ARIN’s Board of Trustees, Advisory Council (AC), and
Number Resource Organization (NRO) Number Council Call for Nominations
on Monday, 15 July, ARIN seeks community input regarding this year’s
nominee questionnaires.

In Q4 of each year, ARIN’s Membership elects individuals to the ARIN
Board of Trustees and AC, and two out of three years, one ARIN
representative to the NRO Number Council. To be considered for a seat on
one of these bodies, a nominee must submit an online questionnaire to
provide detailed information about their relevant experience and
positions on key community issues.

Candidate questionnaire responses will be published online along with
their bio via an electronic ARIN 2019 Voter Guide when the Initial Slate
of Candidates is announced on Monday, 16 September.

If you have questions that are relevant to policy issues or challenges
facing ARIN that you’d like candidates to answer, please send your
suggestions to members at arin.net for the 2019 Nomination Committee’s
(NomCom) consideration no later than Friday, 21 June 2019. Please be
sure to mark whether your question is directed to candidates for the
ARIN Board of Trustees, AC, or the NRO Number Council, or any
combination of the three.

The 2019 NomCom will review all submissions for the Board and ARIN AC
questionnaires, and ARIN’s Executive team will review all submissions
for the NRO Number Council questionnaire to determine a final list and
phrasing of all candidate questions. (Per the Board-approved ARIN
Election Processes, Section III, Nominee Qualification Questionnaires,
the ARIN Board of Trustees has already approved a base set of questions
to be completed by Trustee nominees, and the NomCom may propose
additional questions to be added to the questionnaire.)
