[Iana-transition] CRISP 2nd Teleconference - 11 December at 13:00 UTC

That was the intent of my email – the iana-transition at arin.net will be an informational list for dissemination of CRISP meeting times, minutes etc as well as links to where the working “draft” proposal can be viewed. Those that wish to participate in the global discussion of the proposal should join the ianaxfer at nro.net list. Hope that makes sense that that you agree.

John,

Can you clarify what the lists will be used for from this point forward?

My understanding from your email is that updates will be multicasted to both the iana-transition at arin.nrt<mailto:iana-transition at arin.nrt> list (previously used for ARIN specific discussion relating to the ARIN specific community discussion) and the ianaxfer at nro.net<mailto:ianaxfer at nro.net>.

This will allow those from the ARIN community to still get updates, without joining the global list.

The ARIN regional discussion has concluded, and no discussion should occur on the
 iana-transition at arin.net<mailto:iana-transition at arin.net> list.

All discussion at this point should be global and on the ianaxfer at nro.net<mailto:ianaxfer at nro.net> list.

Is that about right? If yes, can we assume any future discussion on iana-transition at arin.net<mailto:iana-transition at arin.net> will be moved to ianaxfer at nro.net<mailto:ianaxfer at nro.net> by replying the the email on the iana-transition at arin.net<mailto:iana-transition at arin.net>, moving iana-transition at arin.net<mailto:iana-transition at arin.net> to BCC, and CCing ianaxfer at nro.net<mailto:ianaxfer at nro.net>.

Thanks,

__Jason

I think it is important to have an ARIN only list for those that just want to keep abreast of what is happening. For those that wish to participate more in the discussions then the NRO list is more suitable. The ARIN CRISP team members will try to post all pertinent information on the ARIN list. The 2nd meeting was held today and I plan to send out a good summary of what has been happening within the CRISP team and on the calls later today or tomorrow. Thanks.

Now that the CRISP group is going should we consider moving all the discussion to the ianaxfer at nro.net<mailto:ianaxfer at nro.net> list and closing the ARIN regional specific list?
