[arin-ppml] Request for Comment & Feedback: ARIN Draft Policy 2026-3 NRPM Section 6.4.1 Retirement

Hello ARIN Community,

Draft Policy ARIN-2026-3, NRPM Section 6.4.1 Retirement, will be presented at the upcoming public policy meeting this October. In advance of the presentation, the advisory council is looking for feedback from the ppml on whether or not this policy is supported as written. If you do support this policy as written please reply affirmatively, and optionally include any reasons why. If you do not support this policy as written it is even more critical for us to hear from you and your reasons why so that we can convey those at the upcoming meeting.

As a reminder, this policy is intended to retire language in 6.4.1 governing ownership of IPv6 addresses. The terms of IP address ownership are incorporated in member RSA's. There is currently no language in the NRPM governing the ownership of IPv4 addresses.
