[arin-ppml] AFRINIC And The Stability Of The Internet Number Registry System

Hi John:

Yes, it’s a matter for something called “community discuss” or “APNIC talk”
in other regions, but I understand PPML are only for polices not community
matters, and have seen people been remind same multiple times.

And I have sent a request to ARIN ask where is ARIN version of community
discuss list, below is an reply saying ARIN is in process to creating
something similar.

Hello Lu,

Sorry to inform you that ARIN does not have a 'general discussion list" at
this time. We are currently in the process of closing the
arin-discuss at arin.net mailing list due to several problems such as it was
an "opt out" list that ARIN had been auto subscribing members to for years.
We are looking into the requirement to stand up a general discussion list
in the ARIN region that would be open to anyone that wishes to opt-in. It
would be great if you could submit your suggestion for what you perceive to
be a good way to do that. You can find all the information for submitting a
suggestion on the arin.net website.
