Dmitri -
ARIN does not have any expectations to meet except those set by the community via policy. Law enforcement has a voice in the process just as anyone in the public discussion.
Verification of utilization orginates from the need to maintain appropriate stewardship, not any requirement from government or LEA.

ARIN doesn't experience any particular pressures in this area; we simply direct any desires for new policy to the community policy development process.

Full agreement; the detailed data that we request should be retained no longer than necessary, and I have taken an action item to review how we go about retaining such information for an appropriate period.
Thanks!
