This is a bit of heat and light. What exactly is the paragon here? The 
ARIN process seems pretty open, transparent and sunshiny to me.

WRT the proximate question, should AC members have a vote on petitions, I 
had concerns, which I aired. I felt like I had decent access to AC 
members. They took time to address those concerns. Even when we finally 
disagreed, I came away with the perception that the subject had been 
carefully considered. Oh, wait, you didn't see that on PPML? It met my 
needs though.

Arin-discuss is a red herring, but I _DO_ get that you think every elected 
ARIN personage should document more pertinent thoughts and words. I feel 
that the current level of reporting is adequate. More is nice, but 
desperately needed, no. The PDP committee has been robust in soliciting 
input. There is always room for improvement, but we elected these folks to 
do a job and they should get on with it within what guidelines are current 
at the time. Sausage making and all that.
