In accordance with the ARIN Policy Development Process (PDP), the ARIN
Advisory Council (AC) held a meeting on 17 June 2010 and made decisions
about several draft policies and proposals.

The AC recommended that the ARIN Board of Trustees adopt the following
draft policy:

2010-2: /24 End User Minimum Assignment Unit

The AC moved the following draft policy to an extended last call (it
will be posted separately to last call):

2010-1: Waiting List for Unmet IPv4 Requests

The AC accepted the following proposal on to the AC's docket for
development and evaluation:

   115. Global Policy for IPv4 Allocations by the IANA Post Exhaustion

The AC abandoned the following proposal:

   111. IPv4 Fragment Management policy proposal

The ARIN AC abandoned Proposal 111 because its intent was rendered moot
by the sending of 2010-1 to last call.

The PDP states, “Any member of the community, including a proposal
originator, may initiate a Discussion Petition if they are dissatisfied
with the action taken by the Advisory Council regarding any specific
policy proposal.” Proposal 111 may be petitioned to try to change it
into a draft policy for discussion on the Public Policy Mailing List and
at the October meeting (Discussion Petition). The deadline to begin a
petition is five business days after the AC's draft meeting minutes are
published.
