ARIN is in the position of doing something or nothing, policy-wise, in
response to coming depletion.

Whether it is important or not to try to do something meaningful with
regards to the upcoming depletion depends on whether you believe that
IPv6 adoption will be swift or slow, painless or painful.

IPv6 adoption uptake depends on many factors, possibly those related to
NAT66, but more probably those related to NAT64.

While ARIN cant do anything about protocol design, forming conclusions
and opinions about protocol design has an effect on potential policy.
