It happened when the accountants took control from the technologists.

It happened when "maximizing shareholder value" became the driving force 
behind "innovation".

I learned a long time ago that any technology company that is run by 
accountants is a failed company that doesn't know it yet.

IPv6 uptake will only happen "for real" when the accountants are 
(metaphorically) pushed off the roof.

I've yet to see any hard evidence that getting an MBA doesn't include 
someone rooting around your frontal lobe with a melon baller as a 
graduation requirement. :)
