Not at all. We are currently approaching a brick wall at a relatively  
modest pace. We all know what needs to be done, and there is still  
time to get 90% of what needs to be done in place before we hit that  
wall.

Making IPv4 tradable means that our trajectory towards the wall will  
change in ways that we can't predict. The wall is still going to be  
there so we still need to plan for that collision, the only difference  
is that now we don't know when that will happen. Some think it will be  
later than it would be without the policy change and that that's  
enough of an advantage to take the risk, but I disagree: it buys us  
little and we risk a lot.
