Hi Cliff-
Answers are provided below to the questions you posted to ppml.
You asked:
"How many of the signers came in from the cold and did not have a
separate RSA with ARIN?"
Of the 129 Organization IDs that have signed the Legacy RSA to date, 66
of them have a separate standard RSA signed with ARIN.
You asked:
I'm curious how many of the signers came from the outreach program
started last year.
Although we can't say for certain that a Legacy RSA was signed as a
direct result of the outreach program ARIN began in December 2007, we
can provide the following statistics:
Prior to the beginning of ARIN's outreach efforts in December 2007, 25
Legacy RSA applications had been received in total, and three of them
had been completed and signed.
ARIN began its outreach efforts by sending letters to legacy Class A
registrants in December 2007. Since that date, two Class A registrants
have signed the Legacy RSA.
ARIN began sending letters to the legacy Class B registrants in early
March 2008. Since that date, 72 Class B registrants have signed the
Legacy RSA.
ARIN will begin its outreach efforts to legacy Class C registrants
within the next week.
As a side note, there are currently 166 pending Legacy RSA applications
in progress. Fifty-three of these have been approved and are awaiting
final paperwork.
