[ppml] getting converts to V6

I have some current real-world data to add to the mix.

I am with the State of Minnesota. We run the usual sort of large
data/voice/video network that is quite common and act as both an ISP
and an internal provider.

We have some IPv6 deployed on the network. The Cisco routers and Sun
workstations run it just fine. I expect that the Windows, Linux and
OS X boxes would also work just fine. If any customer asks for it
(none have), we can support their IPv6 network across our MPLS
backbone.

We have a large class of semi-intelligent network devices out there
(things like transceivers, UPSs, etc, with IP connectivity). None of
those support IPv6, although we have them all in RFC 1918 address
space (and always will, even after IPv6 as we don't want them
reachable from the Internet), so that isn't a problem.

We also just issued an RFP for network management tools. Only one of
the responses supports IPv6 ("coming soon" on the rest), and even that
one doesn't support it across their entire product line.

So, if we had to support IPv6 tomorrow, we couldn't: the products that
we need to run the network don't exist yet.

We (as a network) really can't start a big move until all of the
pieces are in place.
