You show me why it is worth $1B to join the DFZ.

The point is still the same, for all its complexities,
Internet peering is nowhere near as complex as telephony
accounting and settlements which cost some companies as
much as 70% of their expenses back in the early 90s.

The Internet is as much about flat rates as it is 
about packet switching.
