A cut-and-paste casualty lost the following point about semantics in my
previous post:

No matter what the definition of "IPv4 swamp" is, "IPv6 swamp" can't be
the same. For example, many would agree that "IPv4 swamp" (whatever it
means) is pre-CIDR, when IPv6 is CIDR to begin with and therefore they
can't be compared. To this effect, "IPv6 swamp" might mean "let's not do
mistakes similar to the ones we did with v4 again".
