Hi,

Some additional material on this policy was prepared for the most 
recent  APNIC meeting, and this may be of interest to this list.

The work behind this was to look at the proposition: "if the registries 
had  been allocating IPv6 address blocks rather than IPv4 blocks for the 
past  few years, and if one were to apply the IPv6 allocation policies to 
the  inferred demand profile derived from the RIR's published IPv4 
allocation  transaction log, what block management technique and what block 
size would  minimize the amount of fragmented allocations to ISPs and LIRs?"
