log10(x) = ln(x) / ln(10)

The ratio will, of course, cancel-out the conversion factor.

Incidentally, how were the ratio values derived? 31% utilization[1] before a
/8 reallocation seems a bit low to me (just a gut feeling, you
understand..!)
