Thanks, I was about to chime in with the same correction and a specific citation.

Just one small correction -- many of us didn't sign up. On our side at
least, there seems to have been an auto-subscribe to a couple of lists
including this one.

However, the point of filtering is quite valid. It's a ten second rule
to set up in Thunderbird etc., either unsubscribe or set up the rule. ;-)
