ARIN can be defined in many ways. Staff. AC. Board. Community. Etc. 

Clearly there are people who feel that influence peddling, this is the problem being described, is an activity not conducive to the reputation of the organization.  Let's not to deflect, be defensive or over think.  

Let me restate the solution:
