If I don’t vote in 2022, 2023, 2024, then I have NO WAY to get my voting privileges restored prior to 2026 as I read the proposal.

In California, if I don’t vote from 2015-2024 and lose my registration, I can still register in time for the 2025 election.

That’s a meaningful difference IMHO.
