[ARIN-consult] Consultation on Expanding the Size of the ARIN Board of Trustees

To be clear, the board is elected by the members, which are a small subset of the much larger community. 

Now if the board wants to look into better and broader representation of the community, this might be something to look at. I think an expanded electorate would be far more useful than an expanded board.
