[ARIN-consult] Community Consultation on Increasing the Size of the ARIN Board of Trustees

As no more than an observer I would love to see ARIN implement concrete
measures to increase diversity. I am, however, not sure increasing the
number of board positions, by itself, would help to realise that end. It
seems that hardwiring the Bylaws to guarantee some element of diversity on
the board by specifically defined diversity criteria may be a better
solution.

Which raises another question: what kind of diversity in background is ARIN
trying to achieve? Is it gender, regional or economic diversity?
