[arin-announce] New Chief Operating Officer and Transition Plan

We are pleased to announce the promotion of Richard Jimmerson as ARIN’s
new Chief Operating Officer (COO) to replace Nate Davis, upon Nate’s
retirement in the fourth quarter of 2018. Richard will work closely with
Nate this year to transfer the critical functions of the role and ensure
a successful transition.

Richard has served as ARIN’s Chief Information Officer (CIO) since 2013;
and previously from 2007 to 2011.  With Richard’s extensive tenure with
ARIN, he brings a wealth of experience to his new role.  Richard’s
previous roles at ARIN include Director of External Relations, Director
of Operations, Director of Registration Services, and Internet Protocol
Analyst.  Richard also served as the Senior Director of Deployment and
Operationalization at the Internet Society from 2011 to 2013.
