The American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN) has reopened its call
for volunteers to serve on the 2018 Nomination Committee (NomCom). ARIN
is seeking five volunteers from General Members in Good Standing to
serve a one-year term on this key committee.

The NomCom plays a crucial part in ARIN’s Elections by identifying,
recruiting, and certifying a slate of Board of Trustees and Advisory
Council (AC) candidates in accordance with ARIN Bylaws and procedures.
Learn more about the committee’s scope of responsibilities can review
the 2018 NomCom Charter by clicking on the link below:

https://www.arin.net/about_us/committeecharters.html#nomcom

The NomCom includes seven representatives; two members from the ARIN
Board of Trustees, one serving as Chair, who then appoint five
individual representatives from a General Membership pool of volunteers.
Up to two of these representatives can be currently-serving on the AC.

Volunteers must represent an ARIN Member organization that is in good
standing. Candidates for this year’s Board of Trustees and AC elections
are ineligible to sit on the NomCom.

To be considered for the 2018 NomCom, please email your first and last
name, email address, phone number, and ARIN Member organization name and
Org ID to members at arin.net no later than 12:00 PM EDT on Tuesday, 10
April. Individuals who previously indicated interest in volunteering do
not need to send a new email.

ARIN will contact the selected representatives, who will be asked to
sign and return a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) within three business
days of being notified of their selection. To review the NDA, please visit:
