We will soon begin accepting fellowship applications for ARIN 40 in San
Jose, California, taking place 5-6 October 2017. When considering
whether or not to apply, please bear in mind that at the 10 January 2017
ARIN Board of Trustees meeting, the Board voted to remove domicile
requirements and to open the ARIN Fellowship Program to all individuals
interested in ARIN regional Internet number resource policy. Applicants
and selected fellows no longer have to be domiciled in the ARIN service
region, however, the Charter for the Fellowship Selection Committee
states that if the qualified applicant pool permits, three to five
Fellows will be selected from each sector of the ARIN region: Canada,
the Caribbean and North Atlantic Islands, and the United States and
Outlying Areas. As always, past ARIN Fellows are encouraged to apply.
