On Nov. 1, 2005, ARIN will be replacing the field labels for resource
technical POCs in ARIN WHOIS in an effort to more visibly separate 
resource POCs from organization POCs.

Resource technical POCs are associated only with an individual IP 
address or AS number range registration object. Organization POCs are 
associated with the OrgID object and with all numbering resource 
registration objects associated with the OrgID.

The field labels for resource technical POCs currently are displayed as:

    TechHandle: ARIN-HOSTMASTER
    TechName:   Registration Services Department
    TechPhone:  +1-703-227-0660
    TechEmail:  hostmaster at arin.net

After the change, resource technical POCs will display as:

    RTechHandle: ARIN-HOSTMASTER
    RTechName:   Registration Services Department
    RTechPhone:  +1-703-227-0660
    RTechEmail:  hostmaster at arin.net
