In accordance with the Election Guidelines and 2005 calendar of events,
the petition process for the ARIN Board of Trustees is now closed. ARIN
received no petitions; the slate of Board candidates remains the same as
announced on August 18.
The complete list of Board, Advisory Council, and Number Resource
Organization Number Council (NRO NC) candidates, brief biographies, and
a form to voice support for any candidate are online at:
http://www.arin.net/elections/candidates.html
Designated member representatives (DMR) from ARIN General Members in
good standing will be asked to vote for two (2) candidates in the Board
election and five (5) candidates in the Advisory Council election.
Elections will be held online October 28 - November 4, 2005. ARIN Member
Services requires a name and personalized e-mail address be on record
for the DMR; role accounts are not acceptable for voting purposes.
Please e-mail Member Services at memsvcs at arin.net to ensure you have a
properly registered DMR.
This year, the NRO NC seat will be appointed by the Board of Trustees.
The appointment of the NRO NC representative will be announced on
Thursday, October 27, 2005, during the ARIN XVI Public Policy Meeting in
Los Angeles, California.
