[arin-announce] Closing IP Allocations Policies Working Group

On March 28, 2003, ARIN closed down the IP Allocations Policies Working
Group mailing list and referred all policy discussion to the existing
public policy mailing list or ppml at arin.net. The working group was left
intact to determine if it could still serve a purpose.

The evolution of the Internet Resource Policy Evaluation Process has
brought structure to policy proposals that are openly discussed on ppml
and as part of ARIN's public policy meeting agenda. What began as a
working group has now transformed into a group of the whole user
community, therefore ARIN is retiring the IP Allocations Policies Working
Group. ARIN appreciates the work of Alec Peterson, ARIN AC Chairman, who
served as the chair of this working group.
