ARIN has recently formed a Member Services Department (MSD) 
to better meet your needs.  In addition to continuing its 
membership coordination and meeting planning tasks, based upon
member input the department will work in several areas.
The MSD is ready to develop training and education programs, 
create new website documents, and create a members-only 
secure site that will feature training information, a 
newsletter and future access to database records for updating purposes.
Immediate tasks will center around:
1. ARIN website redesign (Rob Bailey, Webmaster)
2. Development of training materials and educational 
offerings (Ed Bull, Program Coordinator)
3. Website content reorganization and expansion (Barry 
Skeenes, Technical Writer)

In addition to soliciting input at bi-annual Members 
meetings, the MSD proposes to utilize the CLEW (Community 
Learning and Education Working Group) and its mailing list to 
generate comment on proposed services, documentation,
and to solicit volunteers to beta test training materials.
You have an opportunity to shape the services you receive as 
members.  Please subscribe today to the CLEW mailing list at and watch for 
requests for comment on proposed services coming shortly.

The CLEW group will meet during the April ARIN meetings in San
Francisco, so be sure to register and join the discussions there.
