I agree with Henry here.  It'll have to be done anyways and though 
procrastination may seem like a good thing, doing it sooner rather than later 
may actually save you some work in the long run.

Without thoroughly understanding where you currently stand regarding 
allocations and addressing of the networks involved, it would seem you're 
really not yet in a position to ask for anything additional.
