They have been actively organizing since January.
They have been organizing long before that prior
to the January annoucements. May 1st was supposed
to be the start date.

You will note that silence on the Internet is now
interpreted as consensus. I call it apathy. In general,
I do not really think people care until it directly
impacts their pocket book and then it is too late.
