I guess I have ot ask why do I care if a private commercial enterprise 
that is not an ISP wants to use IPv4 for the next 100 years?

I would daresay there's still orgs out there running thinnet.  Do I 
care?  Does it offend my sensibilities?

I find the discussion of what private orgs want to do rather pointless.
While some of them have very impressive networks from the perspective
of how many nodes they have, the only people who give a damn outside
the orgs are the vendors who want to sell equipment to them.

There's still people using horses and buggies to get around on the
roads.
