Including a right to portability protects users if a RIR fails, like going bankrupt or shutting down, by letting them move their Internet Resources to a new provider without losing their network. Without portability, people could face outages, data loss, or
website downtime. For example, a user could quickly switch RIR and to ensure their operation keep running smoothly. Even if their original RIR collapsed, this will keep users happy and business flowing.</div>

I think that this protection is important for people who aren’t tech experts, as not all users know how to handle technical disasters. They could lose access to their website or online tools without a way to recover if their RIR fails. By adding the portability,
the users can keep their internet resources and stay online when facing crisis. It also gives users peace of mind, knowing their digital presence is in a safe boat no matter what happens to their provider. This supports the draft’s goal of keeping the internet
stable and reliable, helping reduce risk, ensures smooth transitions, and strengthens the global internet for everyone. </div>
