Dear ARIN Members,
My name is Ahmad Enaya, and I'm asking for your support in the upcoming NRO
Number Council (NRO NC) election.
With over 20 years in the networking industry and 5 years in academia, I
bring a unique blend of technical expertise, global experience, and
commitment to advancing Internet technologies.
I began my career as a telecom engineer with Saudi Ericsson, working across
the EMEA region. Over time, my focus shifted to IP networking, helping
service providers build and scale their Internet infrastructure. In 2005, I
earned my Cisco CCIE-Service Provider certification and have since
contributed to networks across the RIPE NCC, AFRINIC, and ARIN regions.
Since moving to Canada in 2018, I've led projects to build infrastructure,
data centers, and Internet connectivity for major universities, hospitals,
and financial institutions. Alongside this, I've been teaching networking
and cybersecurity at universities and within the industry-sharing knowledge
with the next generation of engineers.
What I offer the NRO NC is a balanced perspective drawn from experience in
service providers, enterprise customers, and networking vendors-bridging
industry and academia. My work spans IP core networks, ISP routing,
enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, smart cities, and AI.
My current research explores how AI, blockchain, and Web3 can be used to
secure and scale the Internet of the future. This broad background helps me
see challenges and opportunities from multiple angles-technical,
operational, business, and academic-ensuring that ARIN's voice remains
strong in global Internet policy discussions.
I am committed to fostering innovation, security, and inclusivity in our
community. I believe my experience and vision can bring real value to the
NRO NC and to the future of the Internet.
I respectfully ask for your vote and support in this election. Together, we
can help shape a more secure and connected Internet for everyone.
Thank you,
Ahmad Enaya
