SWIP Template Converter Released

In anticipation of the beta testing period opening on June 28, ARIN has
posted the SWIP Template Converter. It is located at:

    ftp://ftp.arin.net/pub/swip/swip_template_converter.pl

This utility was written in Perl and tested on BSD and SVR4 systems using
Perl 5.6.1, 5.005, 5.004 and 4.036.  It will convert existing SWIP
templates to the new Reallocate, Reassign-Detail, Reassign-Simple and 
Netmod templates. This utility can be used in the interim, until you have
had sufficient time to develop a new template generator internally. This
tool is for your use; Registration Services will not be using this tool.

Since there are different requirements for the new templates, any
templates generated with this tool should be manually reviewed for any
additional required information.

If you are interested in beta testing templates generated with this tool, 
or any other new template, contact me off-list. New templates will be
accepted in production on August 9.
