<p>We received a new suggestion, numbered 2019.7 upon confirmed
receipt, that ARIN allow all POCs to add an optional field of
notification email, which can contain one or more email addresses.
Staff is reviewing this suggestion and will issue a formal
response once analysis is complete.<br>

Description:<br>

POC notification email<br>
<br>
For all POCs add an optional field of notification email, which
can contain one or more email addresses.<br>
<br>
The notification email or emails will not be publicly published
(this is similar to the old DMR POCs).<br>
Whenever ARIN emails a POC, ARIN will send email to the publicly
published email, as well as all the notification emails.<br>
<br>
Ideally, there would also be a way to mark if the email addresses
of ARIN Online accounts that are linked to a POC should:<br>
<br>

<ul>
<li> always be included as a notification email</li>
<li> specify a sub-set of linked account emails to be included</li>
<li> they are removed when an account is un-linked</li>
</ul>

Value to Community:<br>

This will increase the reliability of email communication between
ARIN and resources holders by exposing an email address that is
not subject to public scraping and spam.<br>
<br>
This is very important given 2017-12 notification to unwitting
POCs will only be sent to the public email of that POC.<br>
<br>
Such an email may simply be discarded by the noc, billing, or
abuse teams, and not directed to the IP addressing team or those
that have a relationship with ARIN.”<br>
