Description: Enable V6 for WHOWAS.

Value to Community: Be able to see history of V6 ranges. Surprisingly we are encountering entities that are having V6 space revoked and it would be very helpful to get the same details as V4 and ASN when working with those customers.

Status: Closed

ARIN Response:

Thank you for your suggestion, numbered 2026.5, upon confirmed receipt, asking that ARIN add IPv6 information to the Whowas report. We agree that this would be a useful addition to Whowas, and note that it was previously suggested by another community member in 2025.

The fact that this is a repeated request will be considered when evaluating prioritization of the effort to develop this improvement.

Your suggestion has been referred to our internal process for prioritization and implementation planning and is now closed. Thank you for participating in ARIN’s Consultation and Suggestion Process.

Regards,
