ACSP Suggestion 2025.6: Disable Option for Bulk ROA Removal Notifications
http://www.arin.net/participate/community/acsp/suggestions/2025/2025-06/

Author: Chuck Hauge

Description: Provide an option to suppress email creation during bulk ROA removal

Value to Community: For large managers of IP’s, there are times when we perform bulk ROA removal. Our list of personnel on our POC is somewhat lengthy, and we have to inform them they will receive a larger number of emails from ARIN. It ties up ARIN email server resources, and email space on receiving accounts.

My suggestion is to add a suppress flag option to the ROA removal API. As this is an option, and by default is set to false, there is no change to normal operation of this API end-point. When the flag is added, all email generation is suppressed for that call.

Status: Open

Response from ARIN: Thank you for your suggestion, numbered 2025.6 upon confirmed receipt, asking that ARIN add the ability to suppress the creation of email notifications for bulk ROA removals. We agree that this would be a beneficial feature, and we will be prioritizing it on our development calendar.

This suggestion will remain open pending implementation. Thank you for participating in ARIN’s Consultation and Suggestion Process.
