Having reviewed your suggestion and benefited from an opportunity to talk with you about it, we understand you are looking for ARIN to provide greater flexibility in the area of billing contacts. You described different scenarios to us that may not be satisfied by a single billing contact option. One of those scenarios consisted of an organization who has both a person and a system/machine that would like to receive invoices from ARIN. The person behind the primary billing contact email address would want to receive the initial invoice and all subsequent reminders. The system/machine behind the second billing contact email address may only want to receive the initial invoice, but not the reminders. Because of these different preference profiles described for billing contacts, it is not always an easy solution to simply set up an email alias on the customer side. We are going to review various options available to us inside our billing systems and ARIN Online to determine the best way to increase the billing contact flexibility you described. We will update the status of this suggestion upon the completion of that work in Q2 of 2017 and provide a time estimate for implementation. Thank you for participating in the ARIN Consultation and Suggestion Process. Your suggestion will remain open until implemented. It has been numbered 2017.5 and may be found at https://arin.net/participate/acsp/suggestions/2017-5.html *** Description: Our business office recently received an invoice for "Annual Fee for Registration Services Plan - X-SMALL". It was clear to me what this was for when I saw it, but our business office had no idea. Would it be possible to itemize the specific resources which are included in the invoice? Value to Community: Itemization would help make clear what resources are being billed when and smooth interactions between the business and technical side of organizations. *** We are currently reviewing this suggestion, and will be publishing a formal response in the near future. Having reviewed your suggestion and benefited from an opportunity to talk with you about it, we understand you would like more details on the standalone invoice attachment that is sent to the billing contact. We discussed the fact there is both an email and an attachment that is sent to the billing contact and noted there is more contextual information in the email than on the stand-alone invoice attachment. We also discussed the fact the stand-alone invoice attachment may often be distributed inside a company for review and comment without the benefit of the added information in the email that is sent to the billing contact. We understand you would like more information on the stand-alone invoice attachment, up to and including a list of the resources covered by the invoice. We are going to review various options available to us inside our billing systems and ARIN Online to determine the best way to add details to annual invoices, as you described. We will update the status of this suggestion upon the completion of that work in Q2 of 2017 and provide a time estimate for implementation. Thank you for participating in the ARIN Consultation and Suggestion Process. Your suggestion will remain open until implemented.
