[ARIN-Suggestions] ACSP Closings - 2013.9, 2014.24, 2015.13

Today ARIN closed three outstanding suggestions. The closing responses 
are presented following their titles, below.

ACSP Suggestion 2013.9: Peer Review of Incumbent Candidates:

This suggestion was forwarded to the ARIN Board Governance Committee in 
the fall of 2013, and it determined that no specific change (i.e. 
conducting peer reviews in the process) was needed. Since that time, 
there has been an increase in Board transparency regarding meetings, 
resulting actions, consultations, and other Trustee activity; thus 
enabling an informed electorate to make an informed candidate selection.

ACSP Suggestion 2014.24: File Formats for ARIN Forms:

Going forward ARIN will be providing documents in Adobe PDF format since 
they provide the broadest platform compatibility. We are closing this 
suggestion now that a solution has been implemented. Please let us know 
if we did not understand or did not correctly implement your suggestion.

ACSP Suggestion 2015.13: ARIN Leadership Succession Plan Inquiry:

ARIN maintains a succession plan which encompasses all executive and 
senior management roles and responsibilities. The plan is reviewed 
internally by staff annually as well as periodically by the ARIN Board 
of Trustees. In the event of a vacancy with the President & CEO, then 
ARIN's Bylaws and the succession plan calls for the COO to handle those 
duties in the interim while the Board of Trustees develops a long-term 
solution. Interim coverage of the President and CEO duties in this 
manner is routinely tested (in conjunction with vacation intervals.)
