It relates specifically to sections 4.3.4, 4.4, 4.10 and 6.10.1. The focus of this proposal is to remove unnecessary wording from these sections. In the case of section 4.3.4, the text of the entire section is redundant, because it is clear throughout the NRPM that resources can be obtained under various policies and so it is not necessary for that to be stated specifically. In the case of sections 4.4 and 6.10.1, the references to fee payment should be removed since the PDP does not address fees. In the case of section 4.10, unnecessarily complex language can be simplified.<o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal> <o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal>Policy Statement:<o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal> <o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal>Delete section 4.3.4 in its entirety and replace it with the heading “4.3.4 [Retired]”.<o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal> <o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal>For section 4.4, delete the sentence: “Organizations receiving these micro-allocations will be charged under the fee schedule.”<o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal> <o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal>For section 4.10, replace the text “This block will be subject to a minimum and maximum size allocation of /24.” with the text “A /24 block will be allocated.”<o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal> <o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal>For section 6.10.1, delete the sentence: “Organizations receiving these micro-allocations will be charged under the fee schedule.”<o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal> <o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal>Comments: The proposed changes relating to sections 4.3.4, 4.4, 4.10 and 6.10.1 were combined even though they address different topics because they are all viewed as very simple changes, and ARIN Community members have expressed a desire not to have too many policy proposals moving through the PDP at the same time to the extent that they can be reasonably aggregated without introducing undue complexity.<o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal> <o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal>Timetable for Implementation: Immediate<o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal> <o:p></o:p></p></div><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:"LucidaGrande",serif'>_______________________________________________<br>ARIN-PPML<br>You are receiving this message because you are subscribed to<br>the ARIN Public Policy Mailing List (</span><a href="mailto:ARIN-PPML@arin.net"><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:"LucidaGrande",serif;color:#0563C1'>ARIN-PPML@arin.net</span></a><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:"LucidaGrande",serif'>).<br>Unsubscribe or manage your mailing list subscription at:<br></span><a href="https://lists.arin.net/mailman/listinfo/arin-ppml"><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:"LucidaGrande",serif;color:#0563C1'>https://lists.arin.net/mailman/listinfo/arin-ppml</span></a><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:"LucidaGrande",serif'><br>Please contact<span class=apple-converted-space> </span></span><a href="mailto:info@arin.net"><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:"LucidaGrande",serif;color:#0563C1'>info@arin.net</span></a><span class=apple-converted-space><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:"LucidaGrande",serif'> </span></span><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:"LucidaGrande",serif'>if you experience any issues.</span><o:p></o:p></p></div></blockquote></div><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div></div></body></html>
