So, how about "Timetable for Implementation: Revision of policy text immediately and changes to the database occurring two years after ARIN Board adoption."</div><div><br></div><div>If <a href="https://www.arin.net/vault/policy/proposals/2006_3.html" target="_blank">ARIN-2006-3</a>, the policy that created the OriginAS field, had been proposed today, it is quite possible that it would have been handled by the <a href="https://www.arin.net/participate/community/acsp/" target="_blank">ARIN Consultation and Suggestion Process (ACSP)</a> instead of the Policy Process, as it is not entirely clear that it even needs to be a policy. Therefore, I believe the policy text can be removed from the NRPM immediately.
