ARIN Staff will confirm the validity of the petition request and then announce the start of the petition period on the PPML mailing list.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'>If a petition is initiated, there is a five-day window during which support for the petition may be expressed, and ARIN staff will receive, verify and count expressions of petition support. A petition for Board of Trustees adoption consideration will require support from 25 individuals from 25 distinct organizations to be considered successful.
