ARIN periodically reviews available IPv4 address space in inventory (for example, address blocks that have recently been returned, reclaimed, or revoked) to determine if any blocks may be released for issuance to ARIN-approved waitlist organizations.
Today, ARIN filled all existing approved IPv4 waitlist requests and was left with additional IPv4 address space cleared for issuance. In accordance with Number Resource Policy Manual (NRPM) policy 4.1.8 (ARIN Waitlist), which specifies that ARIN will only
issue future IPv4 assignments/allocations (excluding 4.4 and 4.10 space) from the ARIN Waitlist, this additional IPv4 address space has been set aside to fulfill future requests added to the waitlist.

To ensure equitable distribution, ARIN will begin a weekly distribution to the waitlist for as long as this available IPv4 address space lasts. The weekly distribution will be completed every Friday (or the following Monday if Friday is a holiday). The weekly
distribution will consist of all requests approved and added to the waitlist by close of business (7:00 PM Eastern) each Thursday. Weekly distributions will continue to occur as long as there is cleared IPv4 address space available to be issued. These requests
will be filled in the order they are added as per existing waitlist procedures. When no additional cleared IPv4 address space is available, ARIN will discontinue the weekly distributions.

ARIN’s next waitlist distribution will occur on Friday, 27 December 2019.
