<div dir="ltr"><div>I thought about changing the subject because I'm afraid to keep the same subject when replying to messages originating from ARIN ppml. But...<br></div><div><br></div><div>Last day 18 I posted a message in response to a message received from the list and my computer was infected. Other members of the list confirmed that they had been infected.</div><div><br></div><div>I needed explanations but as I never have confirmation of the posting of my messages * they say it's because I use gmail * I started to send every spam I received to the place where I had been infected. When I had confirmation by member asking to stop, I stopped. When the moderator asked to stop I had already stopped.</div><div><br></div><div>Nevertheless, I continued to receive requests to stop and offenses. Nine hours later there would be still someone that would call me an idiot and would ask for expulsion from the list. It became obvious that they used the return of spam to insult and ask for expulsion but the real reason was unconfessable. Truth always bothers those who despise ethics..</div><div><br></div><div>Am I to believe that calling a member of the idiot list is okay? Abusive ad hominem behavior is tolerated in the list. Or would it be tolerated only against persona non grata?</div><div><br></div><div>Tell me, Mr. John Curran, do you usually use two weights and two measures to judge people or do you need a scapegoat to disguise the serious problem of online communication on the list? I must remind you that this was not the first time that the communication service on the list was used to send malicious files. Ten months ago I got the virus from the list. And it's archived.</div><div><br></div><div>Mr. John, I'm sorry but I need to ask: is it safe to reply to a message from the list using the same subject? Have you apologized to the members of the list for this unfortunate event?</div><div><br></div><div>Until</div><div>Marilson</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><div class="gmail_extra"><br><div class="gmail_quote">2018-04-20 15:47 GMT-03:00 John Curran <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:jcurran@arin.net" target="_blank">jcurran@arin.net</a>></span>:<br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex">
