functionint internetwork.. the early adopters are assuming some level of risk as
the go into virtually unexplored territory, They are also receiving less benefit
from the less densly polulated address space. They will be expending more
time and energy getting their networks fine tuned than the IPv4 networks.
IMHO it seems that early adopters should get some kind of a break.

just like products. IPv4 is running out, IPv6 is the new model noone wants
yet. When you want to push something noone really wants just yet, you are
going to have to give some of it away for free. It seems removed from reality
to think you can treat IPv4 and IPv6 the same with respect to
fees.<BR><BR>IPv6 is a new frontier, if you want a stampede of people staking
claims and homesteading this new wilderness you have to be prepared to give a
little bit away in the beginning. Since this is the AMERICAN Registry for
Internet Numbers, you'd think the historical precedents would be

Yup...you've had a free ride and are still getting a free ride
administratively from ARIN and to think that privelege should entitle
you to more free privelege seems removed from reality.
